If you’re asking “ what’s the difference between an accountant and a bookkeeper” then you might need both. A Bookkeeper takes care of recording financial transactions, including purchases, receipts, sales, and payments. Accounting looks at the bigger picture. Typically, the accountant will go over the data recorded by the bookkeeper, verifying the financial statements and providing business owners with financial insights based on information taken from the bookkeeping data.
DOES MY BOOKKEEPER NEED TO BE LOCAL?
Not necessarily. We provide Online bookkeeping services so we are able to work with clients across the country. The internet and cloud technology makes it easy for us to securely access our clients’ books anytime, anywhere. What kind of training do you provide to BUSINESS OWNERS?
We provide training for our clients and their employees too. We teach you about all the software needed to create financial statements and reports. We also help you collaborate your financial records and other documents with ease using our cloud-based accounting system and data storage portal.
Do you do payroll?
Yes, we do! CoWork Bookkeeping can set you up with a cloud-based payroll system that connects with your accounting software. We’ll ensure the details from each pay run are accounted for in your financial records and reconciled against your bank statement. We do all this with QuickBooks payroll, which syncs with your QuickBooks accounting as well. You can find more information on our services page.
Do you DO invoicing?
Yes, we can help with your invoicing. CoWork Bookkeeping can help you manage your invoice reconciliation process and your revenue tracking. We don’t send invoices to your clients on your behalf, but we can set you up to do electronic invoicing on your own.
What accounting software do you support?
Cowork Bookkeeping is owned and operated by a QuickBooks ProAdvisor. We support all QuickBooks products, Xero, and many different Point of Sale software products that interface with the accounting software.
